What we collect

Email address (for authentication and account recovery)
Personal journal notes linked to your feelings (visible only to you)
Technical data
Anonymous usage data for app functionality
Error reports (via Sentry, optional)
What we do NOT collect
Precise GPS coordinates — we only store approximate location (~1km precision). Precise
coordinates are never stored.
Personal identifying information beyond email
Browsing history or tracking data
Data from other apps on your device
How we use your data
Display feelings on the globe — your emotion appears as an anonymous glowing
dot
Aggregate mood trends — we analyze collective emotion patterns for research
Improve the service — technical data helps us fix bugs and improve performance
Academic research — anonymized, aggregated data may be shared with research institutions

Data retention
Individual feelings are removed from the globe after 24 hours and permanently
deleted after 30 days
Aggregated mood data (regional trends, emotion distributions) is retained indefinitely
for research purposes. This data is fully anonymized and cannot be linked to any individual.
Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion
at any time.
